INTERVALUE (2009-12)

EU-SEE/A/426/1 Transnational Cooperation Programme INTERVALUE project (2009-2012) – Inter-regional Cooperation for Valorization of R&D Results

INTERVALUE project aimed to bridge the gap between R&D creators, producers, financiers and marketers by creating a trans-national mechanism that facilitates the valorization of research results, allows sharing and dissemination of key technologies and helps to establish supply chains between the R&D institutions and the business sector.

DAFNE (2009-11)

EDA – Defence R&T Joint Investment Programme on Force Protection – Project A-0444-RT-GC DAFNE (2009-2011) – Distributed and Adaptive Multisensor fusion Engine.

The project aimed at designing, building and experimenting with a real-time Distributed and Adapted Multisensor Fusion Engine (DAFNE) that combines data coming from heterogeneous sensors in order to generate reliable estimates about entities and events in an urban warfare scenario. More info.

MISS (2005-07)

EU-TST4-CT 516235 MISS Surface Transport Strep project (2005-2007)

MISS aimed to develop an innovative platform to dynamically sense and predict natural and infrastructure conditions, so to improve safety and efficiency of transport operations in a multi-environmental scenario. The project wanted to increase citizens and operators safety by enabling a just in time intelligent computation of an open dynamic road surveillance network and streamlining alerting tasks under the daily duty provided by clerical staff. In this way MISS will pay attention to viability of the system in the long term. The platform used advanced communication technologies for on-line services as well as high capacity storage devices for off-line services and applications, in addition to a new advanced algorithm to simulate risk assessment.
