about me

Well, mathematician or engineer? Perhaps both, or none.

I graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Udine in 1998. After a couple of years spent in industry, I got back to university to feed my aged passion for maths. And I ended-up with a PhD in Computational Mathematics at the University of Padua in 2004.

The rest is the typical path of an italian academician across the 20th century. A few years of grants here and there (Udine, Trieste and Trento), a permanent position as assistant professor (“ricercatore”) in Udine since 2007 and, eventually, as associate professor since 2016.

What more about me. As a professor? Please, have a look at my complete cv here (with publications) or here (without publications). Outside university? Well, it is not the right place here to talk about this. So let me give you just a hint.
