Mathematical Modeling in Continuum Mechanics and Structures

LOCATION

The conference will be held at the Chiostro di San Francesco and at the Ex Orfanotrofio, located  in the hystorical center of the town of Alghero.

Alghero is located in the North-West of Sardinia.  Alghero is 8 km far from Fertilia Airport, along one of the most beautiful stretches of the "Riviera del Corallo": an enchanting peninsula where nature, history and culture combine to provide an ideal work environment.

TRANSPORT FACILITIES

Alghero downtown is only 10 minutes by car from Alghero-Fertilia Airport, which features daily scheduled flights from Barcelona, Frankfurt, London, Milan, Rome, Trieste and Venice. Weekly flights are available also from other Italian and European cities. 

Otherwise every evening you can find ships which leave from Genoa and arrive to Porto Torres in the morning (crossing requires 9÷11 hours). Alghero is about 35 km from Porto Torres and well connected by bus in connection with the ship.
