Submitting a query:
Type a query in the search box, choose the language, and click on the "Search" button.
As the current version of Credino forwards the query to Yahoo! , the query can be specified in any format acceptable by Yahoo!. Collecting the results usually takes a few seconds.
Credino will organize the results returned by Yahoo! in a browsable concept lattice that highlights the contents of the results.
Browsing the concept lattice:
The number displayed next to a concept is the number of search results grouped under the concept.
You can perform the following two kinds of actions:
- Click on the name of a concept or on the document icon to display the search results grouped under that concept.
- Click on the "+" icon to expand a concept into subconcepts.
- Click on the "-" icon to collapse subconcepts into concepts.
When you perform an action of the first kind (on a concept or subconcept) you can see the search results grouped by five per page. Click on the title of a search result to see the result page or, otherwise, use the navigation system (breadcrumbs) to return at any level of depth of the clustering.
