Performing a search

Cloud Credo is a search engine studied for PDA's, also fitting of course desktop computers and laptops.

Type the words you want to look for in the web into the box and simply click on the search button.

You can choose the english or italian language for the results, and you can also enable the preview mode checking the Show Preview checkbox.

Navigating the results

Cloud Credo presents the results of the search into a tag cloud.

The cloud represents the results grouped semantically and the bigger the font of a tag, the higher the number of results for that semantic category.

1. Click on a tag to watch the results for that semantic area;
2. if a tag has semantic subcategories, then a [+] sign indicataes that such tag can be expanded into sub categories. Click on the mouse over the [+] icon to explore the subcategories of the tag and then click on each subcategory element to obtain the web pages related.
3. An expanded element can be collapsed clicking on the - sign that appears immediately after the [ opening bracket of the expanded list.
4. A pedix at the bottom right side of each tag indicates the number of documents that were recollected under that semantic keyword;
5. the tags into the cloud are ordered alphabetically;
6. each tag is represented in a different colour, being this just an aesthetic choice.

Note:
If a search gives only one result or the results can be grouped only in one category, then the search engine leads you directly to the results page.
