The Index of Complex Networks
(ICON) aims to assemble and provide a comprehensive index of real-world
complex network data sets, across all domains of science.
- Browse the index and download your favorite network of significative
size
- Compute the absolute and relative size of the largest connected
component and bi-component
- Test the resilience of the network with different removal
strategies
- Compute the average distance among nodes, the diameter of the
network and the distribution of distances among nodes
- Compute the degree distribution; compare mean and median of degrees;
compute the skewness index; verify if the network is scale-free (that
is, if the degree distribution is a power law)
- Test if the network is assortative by degree
- Compute the transitivity coefficient of the network (or the
reciprocity index if the network is directed)
