Abstract: We consider the problem of detecting hidden inclusions in elastic bodies or electrical conductors by means of mechanical or electrical boundary data. In order to show the effectiveness of the so-called size estimates approach, an extended numerical investigation was performed and the sensitivity with respect to various relevant parameters was
also emphasized.
