Abstract: Starting from a distributional definition of contact power in Continuum Mechanics, we present some conditions in order to have a boundary representation of such a power. To this aim we introduce a version of the Gauss-Green theorem for measure tensor fields with divergence measure. Some examples from classical linear elasticity will be investigated.
