Intelligent Information Filtering Group
Goals
An information filtering system is located between a document source and a user and is capable of identifying the documents potentially relevant for his/her information needs. An essential aspect of an information filtering system is its ability to represent the user information preferences. The goal of this research group is the analysis and development of information filtering systems which are based on the exploitation of user modeling techniques for the construction and development of a model representing the user information prefrences.
