ANTONINA DATTOLO

Antonina Dattolo is Associated Professor in Computer Science; DMIF delegate to Third Mission; chief of the SASWEB Lab (Semantic, Adaptive, and Social Web) Research Lab at the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physycs - DMIF of the University of Udine; chief of the Research Unit of the National Institute of High Mathematics - INDAM at the University of Udine; chief of the Interdepartmental Center for Educational Research - CIRD at the University of Udine.
From 1998 to 1999 she received from University of Salerno an European co-funded post-doctoral fellow on “Technologies of Information and Communication – Cultural Heritage”. In these two years, she collaborated with the Archaeological Superintendence of Pompeii and the British School at Rome in the European Raphael project on “Pompeii Regio I: Conservation Project”. In 2000, she received a research grant from University of Naples Federico II on “Computational Statistics and Hypermedia models: theory and applications”. From 2001 to 2007 she was Senior Research Fellow, Assistant Professor in Computer Science at the Department of Mathematics and Applications of the University of Naples Federico II, and from October 2007 to 2021, she moved to the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (and Physics, now) of the University of Udine.
She taught various university, european master, and PhD courses in the field of Computer Science (among others, Multimedia and hypermedia systems, Web technologies, Technologies of information and communication, Programming Languages) for both scientific and humanistic faculties.
Her research interests include information visualization, knowledge representation, innovative teaching education, semantic and inclusive Web, User modeling, mobile Web.
She is author and co-author of several papers published in International Journals, Referred International Conferences and Books.
